To set up the default member type of imported Friendraising contacts
Your system's default member type is assigned to any new contacts created when importing Friendraising transactions. If you have not already done so, select your default member type from System Setup > Set up web components > Quick setup window > The default Customer Type to use when creating new customers online.
To access Friendraising in your staff site
1. From Tools or Content Management, select Site designer > Manage sitemaps.
2. From the drop-down menu above the sitemap tree, select your staff site.
3. Reveal the Friendraising navigation item.
□ In the sitemap tree, expand Tools.
□ Select the Friendraising navigation item.
□ From the toolbar click Edit.
□ Under Options, clear the This navigation item is hidden checkbox.
□ Save, and close the window.
□ From the toolbar, click Publish.
The three Friendraising pages, Imports, Mappings, and Settings, are displayed on your staff site.
4. (optional) Set up on-demand imports using the Friendraising Importer iPart. To use this iPart, your AiSP must help you set up the Friendraising Administration Console for on-demand exports.
□ From Content designer > Manage content, edit the Friendraising Imports content record.
□ Remove the File Importer For Web Services iPart.
□ Click add content to find and select the Friendraising Importer iPart.
□ Save and Publish the content record.
Configuring the Friendraising pages
The Friendraising pages are built in iMIS using content records and iParts that you can configure for the needs of your organization. For information about how to configure iParts, see Fields: iParts gallery. iMIS Friendraising is comprised of the following:

Staff can import Friendraising Export Files on demand from the Friendraising Administration Console, without the need to download the file first. If you prefer to use this import method, edit the Friendraising Imports content record and replace the File Importer For Web Services iPart with the Friendraising Importer iPart. Note: You must contact your AiSP to request that they enable your Friendraising Administration Console for exports to use this iPart. |
